Dali's "Deux Fatrasies" Fraudulent Etching.
Auction end date: 1/1/2011
Sale price: $85
Details: Don't be fooled by the Collector's Guild Don Quixote COA attached to the back of this fraudulent etching. The title of this etching is actually "Diogene en Son Tonneau" from the book Deux Fatrasies (Field catalog #63-2(A), p. 23). The plate was canceled with a single hole in the upper left, where the moon appears! This moon identifies the print as one from a fraudulent edition made by Leon Amiel (Field catalog, pp. 238 & 240).
