Dali's "Deux Fatrasies" Fraudulent Etching (aka "Don Quixote").
Auction end date: 3/2/2012
Sale price: $103
Details: 9" x 6" image;
NOTE: The title of this etching is actually "Diogene en Son Tonneau" from the book Deux Fatrasies (Field catalog #63-2A, p. 23). The plate was canceled with a single hole in the upper left, where the moon appears! This moon identifies the print as one from a fraudulent edition made by Leon Amiel (Field catalog, pp. 238 & 240).
