Dali's "Deux Fatrasies" Fraudulent Etching.

Auction end date: 7/27/2011
Sale price: $66
Details: 5.75" x 9" image on 11" x 14" paper; comes with a COA from a Collector's Guild etching of Don Quixote.  The title of this etching is actually "Diogene en Son Tonneau" from the book Deux Fatrasies (Field catalog #63-2(A), p. 23).  The plate was canceled with a single hole in the upper left, where the moon appears!  This moon identifies the print as one from a fraudulent edition made by Leon Amiel (Field catalog, pp. 238 & 240).
