Salvador Dali "Song of Songs of Solomon" Etching Forgery.

Details: 19" x 11" plate; purports to be an image from original intaglio print suite Song of Songs of Solomon titled "Let him kiss mee with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine" (Field catalog #71-17(B) on pp. 70-71), however, this print is numbered "E.A." which does not exist for an original print from this suite. As noted by Field on p. 238, this print is a forgery. Sold by eBay user "1crazecollector" purporting to be from Ridgewood, NJ.

Dali's "Deux Fatrasies" (Spinning Man) Fraudulent Etching.

Details: The title of this etching is actually "Le chute de moi" from the book Deux Fatrasies (Field catalog #63-2B, p. 23). The plate was canceled with a single hole in the upper left, where the moon appears! This moon identifies the print as one from a fraudulent edition made by Leon Amiel (Field catalog, pp. 238 & 240).

Therefore, this is a Dali imitation, and the signature is a forgery (Field p. 233).
