Auction end date: 5/28/2011
Sale price: $1030 GBP; $1685 USD
Details: Arches paper; No. EA; 30" x 22" sheet; improperly identified as a 1978 etching, however this image is a cooperative lithograph from 1975 (see Field catalog # 75-1, p. 173).

Dali Original Engraving: "The Lady and the Unicorn" (1971).

Auction end date: 5/22/2011

Dali's "Deux Fatrasies" Fraudulent Etching.

Auction end date: 5/22/2011
Sale price: $83
Details: Don't be fooled by the Collector's Guild Don Quixote COA attached to the back of this fraudulent etching.  The title of this etching is actually "Diogene en Son Tonneau" from the book Deux Fatrasies (Field catalog #63-2(A), p. 23).  The plate was canceled with a single hole in the upper left, where the moon appears!  This moon identifies the print as one from a fraudulent edition made by Leon Amiel (Field catalog, pp. 238 & 240).

Dali's "Capricorn" Lithograph (Penn Prints, 1969).

Auction end date: 5/20/2011
Sale price: $25

Dali's "Surrealist Matador" Art Print / Poster.

Auction end date: 5/19/2011
Sale price: $85
Details: No. 204 of 500; 41.5" x 33".

Dali's "Cosmic Athlete" Lithograph.

Auction end date: 5/19/2011
Sale price: $30
Details: No. HC; 34" x 24"; appears to be an edition published by Center Art Galleries-Hawaii.
NOTE: There is a lot of stink surrounding this print (several competing editions) and Center Art Galleries (various questionable behaviours), which makes any print of this image virtually worthless.  Center Art's edition came from Leon Amiel who appears to have used presigned paper (see "The Great Dali Art Fraud & Other Deceptions" by Lee Catterall, pp. 62-63).  This print carried an average price tag of $2,300 in Hawaii (Catterall).

"Les Amoureux" Dali Lithographs.

Auction end date: 5/18/2011
Sale price: $1592
Details: six lithographs with hard bound storage folder allegedly original, signed, and numbered; "Intimations of Immortality" No. 104 of 350; "Santiago el Grande" No. 28 of 150 dated 6/29/84; "Corpus Hypercubis" No. 27 of 65 and No. 28 of 65; two other untitled lithographs, one of which was not pictured in its entirety.
NOTE:  there is no evidence to support the claim that these are original lithographs or that the signatures are authentic.  In fact, the litho dated 1984 with a steady signature must be a forgery because Dali wasn't signing much of anything in the 1980's because of his health.  None of these lithographs appear in the Field catalog, providing further evidence of their dubious authenticity.  In addition, the hard bound folder does not look Dalinian.

Auction end date: 5/17/2011
Sale price: $105
Details: appears to be No. EA from a 1964 (typo?) German edition of 386.
NOTE: a 1974 German edition of 386 is known to exist, however no prints are hand signed according to Field (Field catalog, p. 191), therefore the signature is likely a forgery.
