Auction end date: 11/28/2011
Sale price: $61
Details: appears to be a print of original intaglio titled Don Quixote/Horseman (Field catalog #64-4, p. 22); 15.5" x 11.5" paper. Possibly a restrike (info on p. 237);
NOTE: information strongly suggests that a legitimate print of this image is not signed; additionally, in my opinion, the signature looks like a forgery.

Sale price: $45
Details: 15" x 24";
"this is an original and authentic poster from SNCF in 1970 (the artwork by Dali is from 1969). Several ways to verify this: The small print at the bottom of the poster, the bottom caption which invariably states "French Railways" instead of "Chemins de Fer Français" on copies and reproductions, and the size which is slightly smaller in copies and reproductions."

"Homage to Lincoln" Counterfeit Print.
Auction end date: 11/15/2011
Sale price: $157
Details: No. 88 of 300; 19.5" x 22.5" BFK Rives paper; 14.5" x 19.25" image.
NOTE: As noted by Field (p. 238), this print is a modified portion of a painting that Dali made in 1942 for Esquire Magazine, published by Gaillard for Amiel, and Dali had nothing at all to do with it. Therefore, the print is counterfeit, and the signature is likely a forgery.
